MRV Enables Standards-based SDN Integration for its Pro-Vision® Lifecycle Service Orchestration Platform
Recent Pro-Vision software release includes next generation RESTCONF Northbound interface enabling support for Service Lifecycle Automation

The newly upgraded Pro-Vision software platform now includes a next generation RESTCONF Northbound application program interface (API). This new interface leverages standards-based Yang models, such as those defined by the Open Networking Foundation’s (ONF’s) T-API open standard, for seamless integration with high-order orchestration platforms, thereby enabling full Lifecycle Service Orchestration (LSO) for transport services.
Pro-Vision integrates with MRV’s family of optical transport and switching platforms, enabling service providers to design, manage, diagnose, visualize and optimize their multilayer networks, while substantially reducing operational expenses. With the addition of its next generation RESTCONF Northbound API, Pro-Vision further simplifies ease of use, service orchestration in SDN-enabled networks, troubleshooting capabilities, and also supports new optical and packet products and features.
